This month's biggest addition is AI model selection, you can now choose which AI model drives your stories. We've also spent a lot of time listening to community feedback and making the AI smarter about how it tells your story.

Choose Your AI Model

You can now pick the AI model that powers your stories from a searchable dropdown in settings. Different models have different strengths — some are more creative, some are faster, and some are better at following complex scene directions. We encourage you to experiment and find the one that fits your playstyle.

There are currently 14 models available across six providers:

• Google: Gemini 2.0 Flash, Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite, Gemini 2.5 Flash, Gemini 3 Flash, Gemini 3 Pro
• DeepSeek: DeepSeek V3, DeepSeek V3.2
• Anthropic: Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Haiku 4.5
• Amazon: Nova Premier, Nova 2 Lite
• xAI: Grok 4 Fast, Grok 4.1 Fast
• OpenAI: GPT-4o Mini

Each model displays a cost indicator ($–$$$$) so you can balance quality and cost at a glance. We'll continue adding and evaluating new models as they become available.

Smarter AI, Shaped by Your Feedback

We've been reading your feedback on Discord and paying close attention to the stories you share. We are continuing to improve the AI based on your feedback so please keep it coming!

This update includes a significant round of prompt and structure improvements for the AI.

If you are continuing to have issues with memory, generations, nonsensical output, we recommend either lowering your scene limit or trying a different model!

Improved Story Sharing

When you share a story link on Discord, social media, or in a message, it now shows a rich preview with the story title, description, and image. Previously, shared links would appear as plain URLs. This makes it much easier to show off your creations and invite others into your stories.

Stability for Large Stories

If you've been building long, sprawling adventures, this one's for you. We've doubled the size limit for story data and improved error handling so that large stories are less likely to disconnect. When something does go wrong, you'll now see a clearer error message instead of a silent failure.

Other reliability improvements:

• Generation failures no longer reset your current scene
• The location system handles missing or deleted locations gracefully instead of breaking
