Otome and romance visual novels run on routes: a handful of love interests, each with a scripted path and a few endings. DreamRunner.ai is a different kind of romance game. There are no routes, because nothing is scripted. You describe the story you want, the AI writes it with you, every scene is illustrated and voiced, and each character remembers your choices in their own words.
No routes, only consequences
In a classic otome game the choices are pre-written and the branches are fixed. In DreamRunner you type whatever you want to do, and the world plays out the consequences. There is no right answer to pick. A love interest you brushed off in chapter one still remembers it in chapter ten, and it colors how they treat you.
Love interests with their own memory
Every character keeps their own memory, written from their point of view. They know what you said to them and what they saw you do, and they don't know what happened when they weren't there. They have goals of their own and act on them, which is what makes a slow-burn feel earned instead of unlocked.
Jealousy, secrets and misunderstandings work the way they do in a good story: a character can only react to what they actually know.
Make the cast you want
Describe a character in one sentence and the AI fills in the rest: name, personality, appearance and outfits. Edit any of it by hand. Build a reverse-harem cast, a single slow-burn, a rival who softens over time, or import a character someone in the community has published.
Illustrated scenes, in your art style
Every scene can be drawn, in any of thousands of art styles from the community or one you make yourself. Characters keep a consistent look from scene to scene, and their outfits change with the story. Press Depict to illustrate exactly what is happening right now.
Voices you design
Describe a voice in plain language and the AI creates it. Every line can be spoken, with a distinct voice per character and for the narrator, in 17 languages.

Private by design
Your stories are saved on your own device, in your browser. We don't keep a copy. Back them up as a file, move them between devices, or publish one to the community if you want to share it.
