Your First Story
From an empty screen to a scene you can play, in about five minutes
The short version: describe a situation, press go, and steer.
1. Describe the situation
Write a few sentences about where you are, who you are, and what's happening. Don't over-plan it — you can add lore later, and you can edit anything the AI writes.
2. Pick a model
The free model is genuinely usable. Paid models write with more nuance and hold characters together better over long stories. The model browser shows what each one costs.
3. Play a few scenes
Type what you do or say. The AI writes what happens next. If a scene goes wrong, redo it — that costs a generation but not your story.
4. Fix things as you go
Characters, locations and their descriptions are all editable, and those descriptions are what images are generated from. If someone looks wrong, edit the description rather than re-rolling.
5. Export when you care about it
Stories live in your browser, not on our servers. Export gives you a file you can keep or move to another device.
Note: that privacy is deliberate — nobody here can read your stories — but it does mean backups are yours to make.
